So, the guests who hand wrote their reservation request are currently staying with us. They're an older couple, as I'd suspected, but not old enough that they should for a second think that La Poste Française is the most efficient way of making a reservation at a hostel in Barcelona. They're delightful and it's to the point where I'm kind of too embarrassed to ask them about it.

Spanish Speaking Girl: Do you have any rooms available tonight?

Me: The private rooms are full but I have three beds available in the female dormitory.

Spanish Speaking Girl: How much is a bed?

Me: 26EUR.

Spanish Speaking Girl: Can we sleep two people in one bed?

Me: Say what?
